Experiments in Microscale

Working at this scale has many advantages. Using smaller amounts of reagent reduces the time, cost and waste involved, and encourages students to think about environmental protection. Although safety precautions are still necessary, the risk involved is lower with smaller volumes – and the students had no difficulties manipulating such small quantities.

以此規模進行實驗有多項好處。使用少量試劑能減少時間、費用及所衍生的廢料；同時亦能提昇學生的環保意識。進行實驗時，注意安全是必須的，但由於微型實驗所涉及的份量十分少，相關的危險亦大大減低，學生亦易於操縱。
